The association brings together all its Member hotels under one umbrella to speak with one voice, some of the services UHOA offers are: Lobby and Advocate for an enabling environment for the hotel industry in Uganda, build the capacity of members to offer quality services, assist members to improve occupancy rates, to strengthen the institutional capacity of UHOA to deliver it’s mandated

Requirements to join are: certificate of incorporation, trading licence, two passport size photographs for two directors, picture of establishment, the accommodation facility has to at least be 70% built up with at least 10 rooms.

We are registered by government of Uganda and recognised by it, we work in partnership with various stakeholders in the tourism value chain, e.g Uganda Tourism Board, Ministry of Tourism wildlife and Antiquities etc

We value our members privacy and we always ensure that their information is kept confidential

When you become a member of UHOA, you automatically receive recognition by getting a certificate of membership, a Plaque and ID.

Membership subscription expires every 31st of December despite the time you joined, we run a calender year. Please ensure that you pay at the beginning of the year to maximumly benefit from your certificate. Please call us in case you need more clarification
