In 2022 Uganda Hotel Owners Association (UHOA) in partnership with the Ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development, Uganda Hotel and Tourism Training Institute and the International Labour Organisation Successfully piloted an Apprenticeship Training program in the Hotel sector.
A total of Ninety-five youths both male & female from Nakivale & Rhino refugee settlements & their host communities were enrolled & trained in four Hotel trades i.e Front Office, food production, F&B service & House keeping.
