Uganda Hotel Owners Association in partnership with International Labour Organisation (ILO) , Ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development (MGLSD) and Uganda Hotel and Tourism Training Institute (UHTTI) organized a sensitization workshop for hotel managers and supervisors who qualified to host the 100 apprentices as part of the activities of the Apprenticeship program.
The host member hotels were oriented about the workplace apprenticeship training program in four occupations that included;
- Front Desk Management
- House Keeping
- F&B Service
- Food Production
The Chief Executive Officer of UHOA Ms. Jean Byamugisha who was in attendance appreciated the managers and supervisors for accepting to work with UHOA to execute the apprenticeship programme.
